Melbourne - Sept 2010

A bloody long way from Karratha! Especially when it was -6 where these photos were taken on top of Mt Buller then when we got off the plane it was 41 degrees

Clowning around!!

What can i say??
We took the kids down to Millstream last year! Nice little oasis in the desert, literally! The drive back through Pyramid station past Python Pool where these were taken was spectacular.

Check out the Grizwolds!!

Jacks last night

We took Jacko out for some pizza at the KI.... it was warm but the beers were cold, the pizzas were sensational and the kids ( all of them) were classic!! Can't wait for summer!! We also went out on the boat for the day which was great, Jack caught this little shovel nose with his hands! Then a storm started which kept us all awake, we had a river running down our road, not as bad as Qld though. Jacko has gone back now, back in June!

Kiddie throwing!

A new take on an old favourite!! My arms were just about to fall off by the end of the day! George just loved it!!! I just posted the video I meant to put on........

Swimming hole at Marree pool!

Jo, the little ones and Jack and Sam went out to Marree Pool for a dip on Thursday 6th, Jack took a quick video of the place, nice place about 8 k's from home. There is a bit of water around now which is great, the place is greening up now... still quite muddy!

A Pilbara Spa!!!

George,

he will go a long way with this type of thinking!! Very innovative!!!!!

Rain!

Well it finally rained here, and it was good rain! We have been hanging out for some other weather than just hot, and everyone was getting quite excited about the impending cyclone, which never happened. Missed us by a good couple of hundred k's but it gave us some good rain, the kids love therain... All 5 of us!

Here are some photos of the kids in our back yard with the rain coming down, the other photos are of me taking Jack for driving lessons after a visit to the tip. I guess I got a wee bit sidetracked and the mud looked too much like fun! It really is a great
way to meet people in a regional community! After 8 hours stuck in the mud with the tide coming in I was ready to go home. It took all day the next day as well to clean everything down!! I guess I'll stick to boating as a fun activity!
